Previewing Solutions Linux 2012
This year, there is a new event at Solutions Linux : les Assises de l’Open Source, which aims at fostering discussion and networking between executives. On June the 20th, I’ll bring my two cents at Printemps du Libre chaired by Patrice Bertrand (Smile) in the morning to depict Les nouveaux champs de bataille de l’Open Source à l’ère du Cloud : script, Apps, APIs. Alongside you’ll find luminaries such as Stéfane Fermigier (Nuxeo) and Gaël Blondelle (Obeo) – that you’ll also be able to see if you attend other sessions about collaboration or Libre communities.
Now what about the OW2 cycle in the afternoon ? If you attend our Service Integration Goes Social EasySOA quick talk, you’ll see screenshots of the just-about-to-be-released EasySOA 0.4. You’ll also be able to listen to Talend about Big Data, BonitaSoft about Talend integration, and the CompatibleOne project about Cloud interoperability, which take part in other sessions about Business Intelligence or Cloud. There will also be talks about SugarCRM, SpagoBI with Engineering, XWiki and many others.
Last but not least, my colleague David Duquenne from Open Wide Technologies will provide feedback about IT modernization using Open Source (and more precisely the Improve Foundations Java platform). This will happen within the wider Governance session at 12:15 AM, also on the 20th, where he is joined by knowledgeable people already cited here. Quick game : the first 3 comments listing them all get a free coffee, see you there !
